The RX 450h comes standard with all-wheel drive and has two electric motors located by the rear wheels to power the hybrid motor. 2019 Toyota Highlander

The 2019 Highlander is available with three engine options. The standard engine is a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive, powering the SUV with 185 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.

The next engine offered for the 2019 Highlander is a 3.5-liter V6 making 295 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque, paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission with the option for all-wheel drive.

The third option is found on the Highlander Hybrid, utilizing a V6 engine paired to a battery and two electric motors to power the rear wheels. Every Highlander Hybrid is all-wheel drive, producing 306 horsepower.

The best-selling Highlander comes with the V6 engine and all-wheel drive, with an EPA estimated 20 MPG city, 27 MPG highway and 23 MPG combined. The Highlander Hybrid is EPA rated at 30 MPG city, 28 MPG highway, and 29 MPG combined.
